INTRO & EXPERTISE: Karen (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and therapist with over a decade of experience working as a therapist in community mental health, after graduating with her Masters in Social Work in 2012. Then in 2023, Karen journeyed into private practice full time and founded her practice Here With You Therapy. Karen is a relational therapist, with an eclectic, individualized and person-centered approach to therapy. She has specializations in traumatic grief, complex trauma and attachment. Karen chose the name "Here With You Therapy" to represent the meaningful impact of compassionate presence and human connection within the therapy room, where clients are met in authenticity and shared humanity. Karen is a certified provider of Compassionate Bereavement Care®. Her practice Here With You Therapy is certified as a Grief Affirming Practice®. Karen is a Masters level developmental trauma therapist with the NeuroAffective Relational Model, providing interwoven top-down (cognitive/mind) and bottom-up (somatic/body) trauma therapy for CPTSD, relational and attachment trauma. Karen is a neurodivergent and queer therapist who has niches in providing therapy for the LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent, non-monogamous and non-conforming communities. INVESTMENT OVERVIEW: Please note that Here With You Therapy services only accepts private pay at this time and does not accept insurance. Superbills are available for clients with out-of-network benefits. The standard private pay rate per session is $175 per full 60 minutes.
